Rich in pigmentation, we handcraft our Permanent Bright Red using an intense warm Pyrrole, a modern permanent synthetic red, that reveals its chromatic strength in a tint or glaze and mixes cleanly to broaden the range of more bluish reds or violets.

Very bright and lightfast, semi-opaque Permanent Bright Red can replace a Cadmium in mixing flesh tones and is ideal for capturing the brilliance and glowing warmth of red, especially in a limited palette of just the primaries.

Due to its poor drying properties, this modern pigment is best used mixed into other colors or in thin applications (not thickly).

Permanent Bright Red is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
